The 2023 shows have endorsed wearable silhouettes, denim in all its forms, and cargo pants as trends that lean toward the utilitarian this year. Crochet was the most popular trend on the spring/summer 2023 runways, with brands like Gabriela Hearst, Ulla Johnson, and Proenza Schouler showcasing flowy dresses with fringe and open-weave tops. Invest in classic silhouettes and layered items, such as crochet tanks that can be layered over button-down shirts and long-sleeve turtlenecks in the winter, to prolong the appeal of the warm-weather trend.
2023 Fashion Trend: Red
Glossy red colors dominated the Fall 2023 runways for everyone from Tory Burch and Wiederhoeft to Sandy Liang and PatBo. Imagine: Vibrant orange undertones and juicy reds that would work well for accent pieces (handbags, jewelry, and trendy shoes) as well as head-to-toe ensembles (think: pantsuits).

Even the most opulent runway designers appear to agree, as they have been showcasing strapless gowns, blouses, and even shoes and undergarments (thigh-high boot-jean hybrids anyone?) made of the material. Choose classic silhouettes and cuts for your wardrobe that will last after the novelty wears off, regardless of the category you choose.
2023 Fashion Trend: Shine For The Daytime
The amount of glitz on the runways for 2023 gives the impression that we are living in the Roaring Twenties. Although sequins tend to become outdated as soon as January 31st rolls around, this year’s designers are arguing for “daytime shine”—wearable separates that can liven up even the most basic staples like blue jeans and tank tops (see above).
