Tree Paine, Taylor Swift’s long-time publicist, has put an end to speculations that the pop singer secretly married ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Paine responded to the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi, which has made multiple allegations that Swift and Alwyn married in 2020 or 2021, saying the reports were absolutely false.”Enough with Deuxmoi’s fabricated lies about Taylor,” Paine said on X, formerly Twitter. “There was NEVER ANY kind of marriage or ceremony.” This is a completely ridiculous thing to post. It’s time to hold you accountable for the suffering and agony you inflict with posts like this.”

Deuxmoi claimed Swift and Alwyn held a “ceremony in either 2020 or 2021 in the United Kingdom, and it was described to me as a’marriage’ by multiple people.” It was NEVER legalized.Swift and Alwyn ended their six-year relationship earlier this year. Although the couple kept their relationship relatively covert, many assumed that numerous of Swift’s songs were inspired by the British actor. These include “You’re Losing Me,” which Swift released earlier this week on streaming sites. Swift says in the song, “I wouldn’t marry me either/ A pathological people pleaser/ Who only wanted you to see her.”Swift has subsequently begun a public relationship with Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs player. The singer has made multiple appearances at his games this season, sparking a media frenzy and a surge in football interest, while Kelce recently supported Swift by attending an Eras Tour event in Buenos Aires. Kelce discussed the couple’s whirlwind romance with the Wall Street Journal, adding that his main goal was to “make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away.”

“Obviously, I’ve never dated anybody that has that kind of vibe… “I’ve never had to deal with it,” Kelce explained. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it.” “How much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life,” he continued. When she acts strangely, I better not be acting strangely.” Swift wrapped off her Eras Tour for the year earlier this week in So Paulo. To commemorate the occasion, she performed “Say Don’t Go,” a vault song from her recently released 1989 (Taylor’s Version), as well as “It’s Time to Go,” a track from her Evermore deluxe version.Swift stated before the acoustic performance of “Say Don’t Go,” her duet with Diane Warren, that when the Eras Tour returns in 2024, she will open it up to all of her songs. “I feel like we’ve gotten through a lot of songs in a year.” “I’m going to make all of the songs available.”Swift will resume her Eras Tour in February 2024, following the conclusion of her South American leg. Those dates end on February 10, or the night before the Super Bowl, if someone special is playing in the Big Game.

In case you missed it, yesterday was a big day in Taylor Swift Land, with a slew of new details regarding her relationship with ex Joe Alwyn emerging.Taylor and Joe split in April after six and a half years together, and neither of them has ever talked publicly about it.In May, however, Taylor released a brand-new song called “You’re Losing Me,” which looked to give some insight on what happened between them. The tragic song is told from the perspective of someone who is anxious for their spouse to fight for their relationship, only to be treated as a “imposition.”Taylor literally begins the song by sighing deeply into the microphone before asking “if it’s time” to “throw out everything” they’d built together. She goes on to say, “My heart won’t start anymore for you / ’cause you’re losing me.”Taylor then sings that she is “dying” in the relationship and then concedes defeatingly, “I wouldn’t marry me either.” She then pleads with her accomplice: “Do something, babe, say something / Lose something, babe, risk something / Choose something, babe, I’ve got nothing to believe unless you’re choosing me.”

When it was released, fans immediately connected the dots and assumed it was about the end of Taylor and Joe’s romance and had only recently been written and recorded — especially since Taylor had been seen going in and out of a New York City recording studio in the weeks leading up to its release. However, Taylor’s longtime collaborator and friend Jack Antonoff threw a massive curveball on Wednesday when he disclosed that “You’re Losing Me” was actually written and recorded long before Taylor and Joe formally split up.Jack reacted the song’s release on Spotify by sharing a candid photo of Taylor dressed down and eating raisins from a kitchen counter, saying, “you’re losing me is out today.” a very rare music from the midnight sessions is now available for listening! Taylor ate these raisins on 12/5/21, therefore this was written and recorded at home.”Swifties were not surprised to learn that Taylor wrote the heartbreaking lyrics over 18 months before her and Joe’s public breakup. It’s worth noting that she and Joe were spotted together throughout 2022, indicating that the breakup was not merely kept a secret for that long.

Many fans on social media questioned Taylor’s ability to write her love song “Sweet Nothing,” which was published in October of last year, so soon after composing such a painful heartbreak song, presumably about the same person.”Sweet Nothing” is one of the few love songs on Taylor’s Midnights album, and it features the line, “On the way home I wrote a poem / You say ‘What a mind’ / This happens all the time,” which many thought was a reference to a real conversation Taylor had with her then-boyfriend. However, as the discussion around “You’re Losing Me” intensified on social media, observant Swifties observed that Taylor had lately liked a tweet that disproved the claim that this song was ever about Joe. The tweet was a comment from Paul McCartney about his then-wife, Linda McCartney, and it said, “i would come back from a run with a poem to share and having listened linda would say ‘what a mind’ though the lines may not have been supreme, she wasn’t merely being kind.” She meant exactly what she said. It’ll make a man feel good, that kind of thing.”Interestingly, this tweet was posted more than a year ago, just after the initial release of Midnights, leaving little doubt about Taylor’s motivation behind her social media activity. Many admirers took it as her way of informing them that “Sweet Nothing” was inspired by Paul and Linda’s love.

Needless to say, all of this was a hot topic of discussion for pop culture fans everywhere, and one location where it was being discussed was celebrity gossip Instagram page Deuxmoi, which has over 2 million followers. The individual behind this account prefers to remain unknown and frequently shares unsubstantiated industry gossip. They frequently post follower submissions containing unsubstantiated celebrity information, some of which is later proved as accurate.Deux has stated on their Instagram account and associated podcast for years that Taylor and Joe secretly married, and they even doubled down on this story after the separation was announced. By this point, they’d explained that it wasn’t a legal marriage, but rather a “ceremony” of sorts in Joe’s home country of England. But, amid all of the news on Thursday, Deux revealed that they believe Taylor and Joe took a break before their final split.”Just because Taylor wrote a sad song about Joe in December 21 doesn’t mean they broke up around that time OR that she was unhappy for all of 2022/23,” a follower pointed out. Anyone who has been in a long-term relationship knows that there are ups and downs.”They followed up with their argument by saying, “Even YOU, Deuxmoi, is now trying to claim you thought they were on a break in 2023 when you were maintaining they were secretly married up until and after they broke up!!”

“She DID have a ceremony in either 2020 or 2021 in the UK, and it was described to me as a’marriage’ by more than one person,” Deux said. It was NEVER legalized.”I will die on this hill!” they declared. “Put it on my gravestone!” I have no incentive to lie; I couldn’t care less what she does!!!! I’m sorry she didn’t tell you about it in a song, but just because she didn’t sing about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen!!!”While Tree frequently retweets Taylor-related posts, her most recent tweet was a link to Taylor’s “Anti-Hero” music video in October 2022.
