In a video that was recently uploaded to the official Jurassic World account on TikTok, a former child actor who is now 43 years old recreated a classic moment from the movie Jurassic Park, which was released in 1993. This was done in commemoration of the blockbuster film’s 30th anniversary.

In the original version of the scene, the character played by Lex, played by Richards, and her younger brother Tim, played by Joseph Mazzello, are attempting to take cover on the island of Isla Nublar amidst a rampage of dinosaurs. They come to the realization that they are being pursued by velociraptors while Lex is in the midst of eating some green Jell-O.

As the raptors get closer and the children become aware of their shadows, Lex does her best to avoid making any unexpected movements. Nevertheless, despite her efforts, the spoon of gelatin that she is holding begins to quiver uncontrollably as the camera zooms in on her scared face.

Richards, who is now a painter, walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Jurassic World Dominion in June of last year, despite the fact that she does not appear in the most recent sequel. The former child actor reached the age of 13 during the production of Jurassic Park, and she went on to make a cameo appearance in the 1997 sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

In an article that she wrote in 2011 for Interview magazine, she commented on the film Jurassic Park and said, “It’s a film that impacted so many people when it came out.”

Richards remarked at the time that she would be interested in making a comeback to the acting industry.

“People often ask me, “Well, did you decide to move away from acting or just quit the profession altogether?” I explained to them that it is not a matter of picking one option over another, “— I quote her. “Acting is something that will always be a part of me; it’s just in my DNA. My attention has more recently been very grabbed by visual art and making oil paintings for other people… I’m sure that if some truly exciting part came along and discovered me, I’d be more than happy to take it on.”
