London, United Kingdom, February 27 (Reuters): As Manchester City advanced to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup on Tuesday, Erling Haaland surged back to his finest form with a five-goal barrage.
The match took place at Kenilworth Road, and as a result, Manchester City defeated Luton Town 6-2.
The marauding Norwegian scored his eighth hat-trick for City before halftime and then scored twice more after the interval to put an end to a thrilling Luton recovery. Luton had no answer for the Norwegians.
All four of Haaland’s first four goals, which he scored at the age of 23, were all produced by Kevin De Bruyne. Additionally, Mateo Kovacic scored for City, who are currently undefeated in all 18 games across all competitions.
City holds the title of champion.
