Who Is Lainey Wilson? Everything to Know About the CMA Awards Entertainer of the Year

If you didn't already know, Lainey Wilson has repeatedly proven herself to be the next great thing in country music.

In fact, the term "next" is probably out of date—she's already at the top of her game! She was the main winner at this year's CMA Awards, receiving five medals, including performer of the year.

(Not to mention the four ACM and two CMT Awards she received earlier this year.) However, devoted followers of the singer are also aware of Wilson's acting career!

She is currently a member of the Yellowstone cast and has swiftly gained popularity among fans of the hit show.

Wilson made her acting debut in the current (and final) season of Yellowstone, but fans may remember her voice from earlier episodes.

The Louisiana native has had several original songs included on the Yellowstone soundtrack, including "Small Town, Girl,"

which aired during the season 3 finale. It's little surprise that Yellowstone music supervisor Andrea Von Foerster thought Wilson's music fit the show's attitude.

I grew up in the rodeo world, and my father was a horse trader and farmer," Wilson previously stated in a press release.

Pink posts a video of a heart on a cloud to remember her late father.
