What is Nelly Korda's stock yardage?

Nelly Korda is one of the LPGA Tour's tallest and most athletic golfers, with one of the most admired swings in women's golf.

Since turning pro in 2016, the 25-year-old has established herself as one of the longest hitters

with drives averaging around 260 yards. However, this falls 25 yards short of Thailand's Natthakritta Vongtaveelap, who currently leads the 2024 LPGA average driving distance at 288 yards.

Despite consistently driving the ball a long distance, LPGA statistics show she does not have the best accuracy.

In 2023, she ranked 63rd, striking fairways with an average accuracy of 73.8%, significantly lower than fellow American Lizette Salas, who shot 88.9%.

Korda, on the other hand, displayed her prowess not only with a driver in her hands, but with every club in her bag from tee to green.

After four LPGA tournaments and 16 holes, she leads the scoring average at 68.875 and has shot under par in 12 of them.

Annika Sorenstam, probably the greatest female golfer, commented shortly after Korda's breakout year in 2021: "She hits it hard and long off the tee, which gives her an advantage.
