Travis Kelce of the Chiefs attacks 49ers' George Kittle.

This year's Super Bowl will pit two of the game's top tight ends, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs and George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers,

against each other, and Kelce enthused about his opponent ahead of the heavyweight matchup.

"He's the best tight end in the league," Kelce said about Kittle, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

"He's been playing lights out, the finest football of his career, and has catapulted that San Francisco squad through the playoffs, man.

And I'm really proud of him and honored to face George in another Super Bowl. Can't say enough about who he is as a man,

who his family is, and can't say anything negative about him."That's a big compliment coming from one of the greatest tight ends in football history.

Kittle may not have Kelce's career accomplishments, but he could have been the best tight end in the NFL this season.

In 16 games, he had 65 receptions for 1,020 yards and six touchdowns, earning him his sixth Pro Bowl appearance and second First-Team All-Pro honor.
