Sophia Bush: 'Courage is contagious' Thanking Fans for 'Kindness' Following Coming Out as Queer

Sophia Bush has confirmed her relationship with USWNT star Ashlyn Harris and thanked her fans and followers for their support following her announcement of her sexual orientation.

The 41-year-old Chicago P.D. alumna shared a behind-the-scenes video from her Glamour photo on Instagram on Friday, April 26. The caption read, "Ever-evolving + still weird."

"Thank you for the kindness, vulnerability, and personal stories and journeys that so many of you have shared," she went on. Fearlessness is contagious. A life in progress, here's to it.

Celebrities, friends, and fans reacted quickly to Bush's post. Hilarie Burton Morgan, a former costar from One Tree Hill and cohost of the "Drama Queens" podcast, said, "Love you love you love you," while Harris, 38, commented, "You're perfect."

What a WOMAN, what a SHOOT, what an amazing human being," said another social media user.

You are an incredible force that should not be underestimated. You're going to give so many other people hope that they too can breathe."

Bush originally discussed her connection with Harris in a self-penned cover story for Glamour that was released on Thursday, April 25.

She refuted claims that she had an affair with Grant Hughes, her ex-husband.
