A popular notion about how Kanan Jarrus would be mentioned in the Ahsoka series has been officially refuted.
San Diego Comic-Con 2023 has unveiled more about the upcoming Ahsoka series, as well as exhibiting some of its more complex props.
The lightsabers, of course, were the undeniable centerpiece, with five characters' unique weapons on show.
These featured the lightsaber of the new Inquisitor Marrok, the mystery villain Baylan Skoll's lightsaber, Ahsoka Tano's famed dual lightsabers,
Sabine Wren's lightsaber, and Baylan's trainee Shin Hati's lightsaber. The latter two lightsabers are
especially intriguing because it was previously assumed that either of these characters would have held Kanan Jarrus' lightsaber.
Kanan Jarrus, an Order 66 survivor and later Jedi member of the Rebellion, was tragically slain in a fuel tank explosion.
Kanan sacrifices himself to save his companions in Star Wars Rebels season 4 episode 10 "Jedi Night."
