Maren Morris Supports Beyoncé Before Cowboy Carter Release: 'Drag Them, Queen'

Maren Morris supports Beyoncé, a Texas Grammy winner!

The Renaissance artist, 42, celebrated the "10-day countdown until the release of act ii," Cowboy Carter, her seventh studio album, on social media on Tuesday.

Beyoncé sent a lengthy Instagram statement to commemorate the album, thanking her fans and critics and saying that the album was inspired “years ago” by an incident “where I did not feel welcomed,” adding, “it was very clear that I wasn’t.”

“But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive,” Beyoncé wrote.

Before saying that “music can unite so many people around the world,” and magnify voices, the “16 CARRIAGES” singer expressed her optimism.

"My hope is that years from now, an artist's race will be irrelevant when releasing genres of music."

“Not a country album. A “Beyoncé” album. I am happy to present act ii COWBOY CARTER!" She concluded.

Morris, who has recently spoken out about her difficulties with country music, was among several who commented in favor. “Drag them, Queen,” wrote the 33-year-old “To Hell & Back” singer.
