Jenna Ortega's 'Miller's Girl' will air on Netflix.

The film will be available for streaming on Netflix on April 25th.

"Miller's Girl" premiered in the Palm Springs film festival earlier this year

causing some controversy due to the deep subjects it addresses and the 31-year age difference between its lead performers.

Written and produced by Jade Halley Bartlett in her debut feature, the film depicts the relationship between Cairo Sweet (Ortega)

an 18-year-old student, and her teacher Jonathan Miller (Freeman), a creative writing professor who feels professionally and creatively dissatisfied.

The two form a friendship over literature, and the film explores its multifaceted ramifications.

Ortega has worked hard in recent years, appearing in a number of independent films as well as major franchises.

This year, she stars in "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," a sequel to the famous 1988 film.
