Ja Morant flashes gun on livestream, suspended from team activities.

On Saturday night, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant flashed a gun on Instagram Live while in a car with pals.

Morant danced in the passenger seat with companions in the video. The companion holding the phone grabbed it away from the Grizzlies point guard and pointed it toward his shoulder after he appeared to bring the gun out for the camera.

A photo of Morant brandishing the firearm went viral on social media.

Digital's request for comment was not immediately answered by the Grizzlies.

Over the season, various reports have accused Morant of malfeasance. He was never charged in any of the events, but it all came to a head early this year when he was photographed brandishing a gun in a Denver nightclub.

Morant admitted the off-court incidents may have distracted the Grizzlies after they were ousted from the playoffs.

Last month, Morant told ESPN that he needed to improve his decision-making. That's pretty much it. We were impacted by off-court difficulties. Just need more discipline."

After assaulting a teenager last summer, Morant allegedly displayed a pistol, according to a March police complaint.
