Former NFL star calls joining Jim Harbaugh's Chargers a 'bad idea'

The possibility of Colin Kaepernick returning to the National Football League was brought up on Thursday.

The same day that the Los Angeles Chargers chose Jim Harbaugh to take over as head coach, succeeding Brandon Staley.

Mike Florio, an insider in the National Football League, pondered the possibility of Kaepernick joining Harbaugh's coaching staff in Los Angeles.

It was Florio who brought up the two individuals' previous association with the San Francisco 49ers.

As well as Kaepernick's appearance in the spring game of the Michigan Wolverines in 2022.

In addition to this, he cited a report from 2022 that stated Harbaugh was going to make the move if he was hired by the Minnesota Vikings.

In light of the fact that there is a lengthy queue of coaches and former players who are itching to pounce on a post like that.

Former Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman told Fox News Digital that it would be a poor idea to make such a move.
