Drake criticizes the Recording Academy at the Grammy Awards 2024, saying, "This Show Isn't The Facts."

Drake, a five-time Grammy winner and one of the most popular rap musicians of his generation, was angry at the 2024 Grammy Awards,

where he and 21 Savage were nominated for four categories but did not win.

Drake, performing in Tampa, Florida, said on Instagram, "All you incredible artists remember this show isn't the facts, just the opinion of a group of people whose names are kept a secret" (source accessible via Google).

Congrats to hip hop winners, but this show doesn't rule our world.

Drake has always questioned the Grammys' significance and openness, especially for hip-hop and black artists.

He said in his 2019 Best Rap Song acceptance speech that the Grammys don't represent music's genuine value and that artists shouldn't judge their success by awards.

.After being rejected in 2023, The Weeknd boycotted the Grammys, and the Canadian did not submit his 2022 album Honestly, Nevermind.

Miley Cyrus wowed the Grammys red carpet on Sunday with her garment made of 14,000 gold safety pins.
