Donald Trump is stung in the primary when a large number of Republicans vote against him

Thousands of Republicans boycotted Trump in several primary polls on Tuesday.

Finally winning enough delegates last month and having all his challengers drop out

the former president is the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election.

However, moderate Republicans and supporters of his competitors like Nikki Haley (who dropped out last month) have said they will never vote for Trump.

Accordingly, while Trump easily won four primary votes on Tuesday in Wisconsin, Connecticut

New York, and Rhode Island, a significant percentage of Republicans voted for politicians no longer in the race, indicating that GOP anti-Trump sentiment is alive and well.

In battleground states, where the Republican faces Democratic nominee Joe Biden in November, Dissent may be harder.

Trump received 78.9% of the vote in Wisconsin, while Haley, the former South Carolina governor, received 12.8% and Ron DeSantis 3.3 percent per NBC News.
