Cillian Murphy's 'That They May Face the Rising Sun' won large at the IFTAs.  

That They May Face the Rising Sun won Best Film at the Irish Film and TV Awards ceremony in Dublin on Saturday.  

Cillian Murphy received the award for Lead Actor in a Film for Oppenheimer, which was also voted Best International Film during the ceremony.  

Agnes O'Casey won for Lead Actress in a Film for Lies We Tell  

which also received awards for Best Director of a Film for Lisa Mulcahy and Best Script for a Film for Elisabeth Gooch.

Paul Mescal won the award for Supporting Actor in a Film for All of Us Strangers, while Alison Oliver won for Supporting Actress in a Film for Saltburn.  

Neil Jordan, an Oscar-winning filmmaker, awarded Stephen Rea, his longtime partner, with the Irish Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award.  

Siobhán Cullen was named the 2024 Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland Rising Star for her work on Obituary, The Dry, and the upcoming Netflix series Bodkin.  

Éanna Hardwicke received Lead Actress in a Drama Series for The Sixth Commandment, while Richard Dormer won Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Blue Lights.
