According to statements made by former President Trump on Tuesday, it is a “very dangerous day for America” in advance of the final arguments in the case of New York v. Trump.

It is a very perilous day for the United States of America. In statements to the media that he made before entering the courtroom in Manhattan on Tuesday morning, President Trump expressed his sadness over the current situation.

“There is no denying the fact that I am here because of Joe Biden, who is notoriously corrupt. The worst president in the history of our nation, he is being responsible for the destruction of our nation. Not slowly, but quickly, this nation is being obliterated from the face of the earth. With regard to the borders, oil, inflation, and anything else you can think of, Afghanistan elimination is a priority. In every aspect of what he has done, he is destroying our nation, and he is also destroying it through the use of weaponization. “And this is nothing but the weaponization of the situation,” Trump continued in his speech.

During the court hearings that have taken place over the past few days, Trump has been surrounded by a small group of supporters. On Tuesday, his children Tiffany, Eric, and Don Jr. participated beside him. Trump has consistently referred to the trial as a “sham” that was orchestrated by the administration of Vice President Joe Biden in order to inflict political harm on him in advance of the election in 2024.

The trial that Trump is currently facing in Manhattan, in which he is accused of fabricating 34 company records, is going to come to a finish soon. The prosecution is seeking to establish that President Trump fabricated company records in order to conceal a payment of $130,000 made to Stormy Daniels, a former pornographic star, prior to the election in 2016. This payment was made in order to silence Daniels’ allegations that she had an affair with Trump in 2006.

On multiple occasions, Trump has denied having an affair with Daniels and has entered a plea of not guilty. Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the case, stated last week that he anticipated the closing arguments to stretch for the entirety of Tuesday and possibly for a portion of Wednesday. Additionally, Merchan is scheduled to present his instructions to the jury this week. He believes that these instructions will last for approximately one hour.

Throughout the entirety of the trial, Trump has been expected to remain seated in the courtroom. Additionally, he is obligated to be in the courtroom during the deliberations in the event that any jury notes are taken. Following the presentation of the prosecution team’s main witness, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, the defense team for President Trump filed a request to dismiss the case. Closing arguments followed.

Todd Blanche, an attorney for Trump, stated the previous week that there were “absolutely no false business filings” and that there was no evidence of any relationship to Trump.

“How on Earth is keeping a false story from voters criminal?” As Blanche put it.

“There is no way the court should let this case go to the jury with Mr. Cohen’s testimony,” he stated in addition. During his testimony in front of the court, Cohen stated that he had taken out a home equity line of credit in order to personally pay Daniels $130,000. He claimed that he had kept this information from his wife. In his testimony, Cohen also admitted that he had stolen thousands of dollars from the Trump Organization without permission.

By exaggerating the amount of money he paid to a technology business that supplied services for the Trump Organization, Cohen said that he stole thirty thousand dollars from the Trump Organization. Cohen stated that he had informed Allen Weisselberg, who had previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization, in 2017 that he had paid the technology company Red Finch $50,000 out of his own personal funds, and that he was still owed reimbursement for the expenditure.

Weisselberg and Cohen came up with a calculation in 2017 that resulted in Cohen receiving a reimbursement of $420,000 for his payment of $130,000 to Daniels, in addition to the purported payment of $50,000 to Red Finch. In addition, Trump stated on Tuesday morning that his team had an election expert who was scheduled to appear the previous week and demonstrate that “everything was perfect.” He was referring to Bradley Smith, who had previously served as the Commissioner of the Federal Election Commission.

It is the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg that is seeking to prove to the jury that not only did Trump falsify the business records relating to payments to Daniels, but that he did so in furtherance of another crime, which is a conspiracy to promote or prevent election. Merchan’s decision that Smith could speak before the court on the fundamental definitions underlying election law but could not expand beyond that scope resulted in the election expert not testifying.

In addition to that, we had a large number of other people. Before proceeding, Trump stated on Tuesday that it is a “dangerous day for America.” He went on to suggest that he could provide a list of forty individuals who would say the exact same thing that these individuals have said.
