NFL world reacts to Derek Carr announcement

The National Football League’s New Orleans Saints are led by quarterback Derek Dallas Carr. Carr participates in American football for the Saints. He played collegiate football at Fresno State, where he twice earned a spot on the first team of the MWC. In the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders selected him after his collegiate career.

Just to make sure they are prepared for the start of the season, give the starters a few snaps. With Derek Carr as their starting quarterback, the New Orleans Saints don’t seem to be planning to do that.

The Saints’ choice is a little surprising given that Carr is new to the franchise and is probably still developing chemistry with the offense.

Carr played for the Saints in just one preseason game this season, going 6-of-8 for 70 yards and a touchdown in the team’s opening contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Carr will thus only receive live reps prior to the start of the regular season.

 

Derek Carr, according to Dennis Allen, head coach of the New Orleans Saints, during a recent press conference the team’s last preseason game, which is on Sunday night against the Houston Texans, will not feature Carr.
