Kris Jenner like Paramount’s Yellowstone, but she did not want her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, to participate on the show.
“I am so excited to watch the next episode of Yellowstone,” Kris, 67, told Kim and Khloé Kardashian during The Kardashians season 4 premiere, which began streaming on Thursday, September 28. “So they asked Corey to accompany them to Yellowstone. And he declined.] I told him he had to say no. “I assumed he was going to be in a romantic relationship.”
In response, Corey, 42, stated that he would have accepted the offer, adding, “If it wasn’t for you, I would be a Yellowstone star.”
Meanwhile, Kim, 42, and Khloé, 39, pointed out that Kris would have accepted a similar offer if it meant having an onscreen kiss with actor Kevin Costner. According to the mother, the thought of playing Costner’s love interest was a “hard yes.”

The Kardashian-Jenners aren’t the only ones who have openly expressed their affection for the western drama. Yellowstone, which launched in 2018, follows the Dutton family, who run Montana’s largest ranch. The controversy surrounding the ranch and the neighboring Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and developers has kept even the most ardent celebrity admirers on edge.
Ben Affleck acknowledged his wife Jennifer Lopez’s unexpected fondness for the series earlier this year.

“I’m a little disturbed that my wife enjoys Yellowstone so much.” “Part of me thinks she’s really drawn to the romance between Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly,” Affleck, 51, who married Lopez, 54, twice in 2022, said in March on “The Bill Simmons Podcast.” “Jen showed me a clip of her off of Instagram, the monologue she has with the kid in the car about the ways to become rich.”
“And then she was like, ‘I love this story of these two.'” ‘Wait a minute,’ I thought. What about Hauser? What about Cole Hauser? ‘What do you like best about it?'”
Yellowstone has recently made other headlines, with Costner confirming his departure from the series. In May, the Paramount Network revealed that Yellowstone will conclude with the second half of Season 5 – but Costner’s involvement remained unclear.
Earlier this month, amid allegations of a disagreement between the actor and showrunner Taylor Sheridan, Costner, 68, announced his intention to leave the role of John Dutton. In court records from his child support dispute with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, he stated that he “completed his work” on Yellowstone last year and “is not involved in any future episodes” of the show.
Sheridan, 53, previously stated that he was “disappointed” by Costner’s choice to depart the series early. “It truncates the closure of his character,” he said in June to The Hollywood Reporter. “It doesn’t alter it, but it truncates it.”
Yellowstone’s On-Set Tension, Political Controversy, and More Throughout the Years
According to additional records obtained by Us Weekly this month from Costner’s legal struggle, Costner’s Yellowstone revenues will be a significant financial loss for him.
“Yellowstone was a complete aberration and provided Kevin with an unusually high level of income — a level he has never had in the past,” according to the document. “Yellowstone was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity… His income will never reach that level in the future.”
Before the cancellation of Yellowstone, Costner claimed he was offered $24 million to film seasons 5, 6, and 7.
Every Thursday, Hulu releases new episodes of The Kardashians.
Though Jenner was opposed to her boyfriend potentially kissing another woman on the show, she said on Thursday’s ‘Kardashians’ season 4 premiere that if she were ever granted a guest role, she would certainly kiss Kevin Costner.
Kris Jenner has no qualms about being overly protective of her lover, Corey Gamble.
Corey, 42, turned down a position on the western drama Yellowstone after realizing that his narrative would involve some sexual sequences, according to Kris, 67, during Thursday’s season 4 premiere of The Kardashians.
The topic came up over Kris’ dinner with Corey and her kids, Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, in Cabo San Lucas. “I’m so excited to watch the next episode of Yellowstone,” Kris exclaimed to the group around the table.
Corey then made light of his girlfriend’s meddling, joking, “If it wasn’t for you, I would be a Yellowstone star.”

Kim, 42, was taken aback by the news and told Corey, “They asked you to be on Yellowstone, and you said no?”
Kris then chimed in to correct the record. “Correct, because I told him to say no,” she clarified.
“Why would you tell him to turn down Yellowstone?” Kim inquired once again.
Kris stated, “Because I thought he was gonna have to have a romantic relationship.”
Khloé, 39, couldn’t help but join in on the fun, telling her mother, “But if they said they wanted you to star and kiss with [Yellowstone star] Kevin Costner, I’m sure you’d take it.”
Kris made no hesitation. “Oh, that’s a hard yes!” she said.

“Okay, so, bring on the saddle!” Khloé said, laughing. “Now I know my next role!” Corey added humorously.
“Now you know your next role play!” Kim clarified. Costner, Kevin.”
“Saddle up, Corey!” Khloé joked as the quartet laughed at the table. “No,” Kris corrected. “He’s the best.”
In 2018, Costner, 68, started playing John Dutton on the Paramount Network’s modern-day Western drama. His work on the series earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and a Golden Globe Award in 2023. The fifth season of the sitcom, which created a whole franchise with many spinoffs, will air in November.
Kris and Corey met in August 2014, while both were in Ibiza for the 40th birthday celebration of their mutual friend, fashion designer Riccardo Tisci. They started dating soon after that and have been together ever since.
