Even though the fifth season of Yellowstone came to an end in January, the critically praised Western drama made its debut on CBS earlier this month, starting from the very beginning.
After whisking viewers away to Montana and making its debut on CBS earlier this month, Yellowstone has attracted a horde of new followers and admirers.
The dramatic series lead by Kevin Costner attracted 6.6 million viewers, which is a significant increase from its debut in 2018 when it only garnered 2.8 million viewers.
In addition to brand new viewers, a significant number of existing fans have been viewing the show again in order to compensate for the significant production delay that occurred as they wait for the remaining episodes of season five.
The SAG-AFTRA strike, which is still continuing, and the WGA strike, which just finished, have pushed productions across Hollywood to a halt. The debut of the show on CBS spans the gap left by these strikes.
As a direct consequence of this, Yellowstone started airing from the very beginning with the very first episode airing on Sunday, September 18 at 8.30pm Eastern Standard Time.
Is there going to be a brand new episode of Yellowstone tonight?
Yellowstone will make its comeback to CBS tonight, October 1st, at 8pm Eastern Standard Time.
Fans will not only be treated to a brand new episode, but they will also be given a double bill of two episodes from the first season.
The next episode, titled Coming Home, will begin airing at 9 o’clock in the evening after the fourth episode, titled The Long Black Train.
After a long-held secret is revealed, the character of John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, will reveal a new side to the audience.
While everything is going on, Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly, gives Jenkins, played by Danny Huston, a tough night out, and quality time spent with Tate Dutton, played by Brecken Merrill, leads to a close call.
In regard to the latter, while Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), who is being pursued by the tribal police, is feeling the heat, Jamie (Wes Bentley), who is working his legal magic, is doing so.
In other parts of the episode, Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) tries to hire a new cowboy for the ranch, and John tries to persuade Kayce and Monica (Kelsey Asbille) to stay close to home. Both of these events take place in the middle of the episode.
As Jimmy Hurdstram (Jefferson White), who has been through a lot, begins to gain new respect for himself.
Fans have enjoyed a rehash of season one with the introduction of the show on CBS; nevertheless, many of them have grumbled that the show has been “watered down.”
Following the airing of the pilot episode, a number of viewers vented their frustrations about the elimination of nudity and explicit language on social media.
In an interview with Country Living, a spokesman from the network acknowledged the revisions and assured the publication that the “integrity of the original series will be preserved.”
Are you interested in unwinding in front of the television on a Sunday? You have lucked out! There is an abundance of fascinating new programs available to view, such as: New episodes of Love Is Blind have recently been added to Netflix, while the first three episodes of Gen V, which is Prime Video’s spinoff of The Boys, are now available on Amazon. Season 3 of Starstuck is currently airing on Max.
How can there be time for all this TV?
You will also have the opportunity to watch two episodes of Yellowstone tonight; however, both of these episodes are repeats. Episodes from the first season have been aired on CBS every Sunday night. Peacock Premium gives you access, as it always has, to rewatch all five seasons of the popular contemporary Western show. But what about the following brand new episode of the great show on the Paramount Network? When will Yellowstone make its comeback after its break? Here is everything that we are aware of.
Is there a showing of Yellowstone tonight (October 1st)?
Yes… but this is a repeat episode. Yellowstone’s fourth and fifth episodes, titled “The Long Black Train” and “Coming Home,” are slated to show tonight on CBS between the hours of 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Additional episodes from Season 1 will air on the network on Sunday evenings.
On the other hand, it is likely that the start time will be moved back in order to accommodate NFL football.

When will Yellowstone have new episodes available to watch?
Nobody actually is aware of this. It was revealed in January that Yellowstone Season 5 would conclude with the airing of its last six episodes during the summer of 2023. It is very clear that this did not take place. According to a story that was published in May by Deadline, Paramount Network was considering setting the premiere date for November 2023. At best, November has always felt like an ambitious goal, and The Hollywood Reporter even made the observation back in June that a comeback in November 2023 appeared “highly unlikely.”
Thankfully, the strike by the writers has come to an end, but the one by SAG-AFTRA is still going strong. Because production on the remaining episodes of the series has not yet begun, the current state of affairs is still unknown. Unfortunately, we do not anticipate that Paramount Network will be airing any new episodes of Yellowstone anytime in the near future.
Where Can I Watch Yellowstone Season 5 Online ?
Peacock Premium is the only streaming service that currently has all five seasons of Yellowstone available to watch. You may also watch certain episodes from Season 5 on demand by going to the website of the Paramount Network, fuboTV, Sling TV (using the “Comedy Extra” add-on, which costs an additional $6 per month), Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Philo, or DIRECTV STREAM.
Last but not least, you can now purchase both individual episodes of Yellowstone as well as entire seasons of the show on Amazon.
