Coffee Creamer Brands Ranked from Worst to Best

Spread the love

Everyone wants to start their day with a nice cup of coffee. If you’re weary of brewing your coffee at home, you might be tempted to visit your favorite coffee shop and get some of the good stuff. You can do it from time to time, of course, but the cost soon adds up. If you want to save money while still drinking the finest coffee ever, consider using a coffee creamer.

That all sounds relatively simple until you walk to the grocery shop and are greeted with nearly limitless options. What should you choose? With so many various coffee creamers on the market, it can be tough to make the right choice.

Don’t worry, we’re here to walk you through some of the most popular coffee creamer brands on the market. It’s not all-inclusive, but we do include prominent coffee creamer brands that you can get at your local supermarket. We’ve listed the worst ones first so you know which to avoid. However, if you want to learn more about our top coffee creamers on the market, continue reading until the end of the list. These gadgets will ensure that you never pay for an exorbitant coffee when you can easily prepare it yourself.

13. Milkadomia

Milkadamia coffee creamer

We wish to enjoy Milkadamia coffee creamer. We actually do. The package is extremely inviting, and it seems like something you’d like to put on your kitchen counter every morning. However, when you actually taste this stuff, you will be extremely disappointed. That’s because, in comparison to other dairy-free coffee creamers, this one falls short.

You might be pleased about the variety of flavors available, but after trying a few, you’ll notice that they all taste similar. The flavors aren’t overpowering, so it primarily tastes like you’re diluting down your coffee with a little nut water.

Sure, the surface of these things may be enticing, but what about the contents? You can do far better with the numerous alternative coffee creamers available. Just don’t waste your time with this garbage.

12. So delicious.

So Delicious coffee creamer

If you’ve ever bought dairy-free milk for your home, you’ve probably seen the So Delicious brand in the shop. Did you know they also have a line of coffee creamers? They’re prepared with coconut cream, which seems like they’ll taste amazing. In actuality, we were dissatisfied when we tried it for ourselves.

The truth is, these coffee creamers aren’t very powerful. They add a faint flavor to your coffee, but that’s it. One Go Dairy Free reviewer described their experience with the brand as follows: “I was expecting it to do more than change the color of my coffee. Would not suggest it to coffee drinkers. “Very disappointed.”

Not exactly a positive review. Unfortunately, the coconut cream in the product is ineffective, so if you use these items, you will most likely need to add more sweeteners or perhaps extra milk. It might be worth picking up if you see it on sale. Otherwise, save time and money.

11. Mooala.

Mooala coffee creamer

These days, more and more people are becoming dairy-free, or at least reducing their dairy consumption. As a result, we now have another dairy-free coffee creamer choice accessible in grocery stores: Mooala Coffee Creamers. One of our favorite aspects of this brand is the wide variety of flavors available. Vanilla bean is a typical flavor, but you may also try banana nut, which you won’t find in many other brands.

Another amazing thing about them? According to PopSugar, each serving has only 10 calories and has no sugar. However, as you might assume, these aren’t the best-tasting coffee creamer options available. Sure, it’s impressive that they taste so wonderful, especially given that they’re theoretically healthier than many other brands. However, when it comes to taste, there are numerous solutions that are far superior.

If you’re trying to lose weight or simply want something healthier to drink with your daily coffee, this could be the product for you. However, if you want to experience coffee shop-style ecstasy in the comfort of your own home, you should move on to some of the coffee creamers around the bottom of this list.

10. Dunkin’

Dunkin' coffee creamer

Donuts is a prominent coffee shop chain with locations nationwide. It has garnered popularity for some delicious coffee drinks that we simply adore. That’s why we were so delighted to learn that you could get some of their distinctive coffee creamers at the grocery store. This must mean we’ll never have to go to Dunkin’ Donuts again, right?

Not so fast. In our opinion, the coffee creamers could be much better. For starters, they won’t necessarily make your coffee taste like what you receive at Dunkin’ Donuts: After all, a large portion of the flavor comes from the coffee itself, not the creamer. Furthermore, many of these creamers have quite strong and overpowering flavors. This is especially true if you are susceptible to high sugar levels. These items are extremely sweet, to the point where it might be overwhelming at times. After all, you want to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, not eat dessert on your way out the door.

Of course, if you want your coffee particularly sweet, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee creamers may be just what you need. But what about the rest of us? Not very much.

9. Silk

Silk coffee creamerAnother popular dairy-free coffee brand is Silk, and this company also has a line of coffee creamers. You won’t believe the huge selection you get when you decide to go with this brand. From the toasted hazelnut almond creamer to the creme brulee almond creamer, you can make your coffee taste like just about anything with this brand.

We’ll admit that it’s not our favorite brand. However, it is far more palatable than many other dairy-free options. Even while it doesn’t have as strong a flavor as other dairy creamers on the market, it’s still quite creamy. And, even if you have an allergy, you have a variety of options with almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk creamers.

Those looking for a dairy-free coffee creamer will most likely find it in their local grocery shop, even if they do not reside in a major metropolitan region. Though it isn’t our favorite, it’s a good choice if you want to reduce your dairy consumption.

8. CoffeeMate

Coffee Mate coffee creamer

Coffee Mate is one of the most popular coffee creamer brands. You’ve probably certainly seen this stuff at your local grocery shop before, and you might have even tried some of the Coffee Mate flavors. If you’re looking for a conventional coffee creamer, Coffee Mate has you covered. There are dairy and non-dairy options, so there is truly something for everyone. With so many diverse flavors, you can brew a unique coffee drink every day of the week.

Of course, these coffee creamers are not for everyone due to their extremely sugary flavor. Almost every creamer on this line has sugar, and you can tell as soon as you take a sip of your coffee. If you appreciate a lot of sweetness, you’ll probably enjoy Coffee Mate goods. Otherwise, you may simply feel “meh” about it.

You won’t be disappointed if you buy this item, and because it’s so easy to find, having some on hand isn’t a bad idea. Just make sure you don’t use too much, or you may have a sugar crash quickly after finishing your morning coffee, which is not what you want when you need energy to go through the day!

7. Nut Pods

Nut Pods coffee creamer

If you’re going to go dairy-free when it comes to your coffee creamer choices, you should definitely check out Nut Pods. Unfortunately, you’re not going to find this brand everywhere. However, if you can find some at a store near you, it’s definitely worth your time to give it a try.

This is one of our favorite non-dairy creamers on the market, and you’ll be able to taste why as soon as you give it a sip. The products are made with both almond and coconut milk, which gives these creamers a unique flavor and texture that you won’t get from other brands.

There are also some downright delicious flavors for you to choose from. Why not try the cinnamon swirl or the toasted marshmallow if you want to try something different? Or you could even try the limited edition cotton candy or coconut macaroon.

There may be some options that we like better when it comes to coffee creamer, but if you have the chance to try this stuff, you should. It may not be as creamy as some of the other creamers out there, but the amazing flavors make up for that in our books.

6. Land O’ Lakes

You may be surprised that Land O’ Lakes coffee creamer made it up this high on our list. It may noLand O' Lakes coffee creamert be the fanciest brand out there, but we have to admit that this stuff is pretty good. That’s because it’s super creamy. The coffeehouse-style half-and-half has a really intense flavor, and it will take any coffee drink to the next level. But there are also other options to choose from, including some dairy-free coffee creamers that you may want to give a try if you’re looking to reduce the amount of dairy you consume.

While we find that the flavors from this brand can be a little boring, the creaminess makes up for that lack. If you’re looking for something simple but solid, this may just be the ideal coffee creamer for you. Some of these creamers also come in handy packaging if you tend to drink your coffee on the go. Says one Amazon reviewer: “I love creamer in my coffee, but if I can get the real stuff, I’ll take it every time. I work in a small office and no one buys me coffee so to have this half and half that does not need to be refrigerated is a real plus.”

Stow some in your office or in your bag — you never know when you’re going to need a cup of Joe on the go.

5. N’Joy

N'Joy coffee creamer

N’Joy coffee creamer may not have the most elaborate packaging out there. And in a world full of trendy coffee creamers with beautiful websites and pretty designs, you may think you should just pass up this dairy-free option entirely. But you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, and if you pass this coffee creamer up in favor of something else on this list, you may just be disappointed. N’Joy is actually incredibly tasty, and it’s an affordable option as well. Just take it from the Amazon reviewer who said that it’s the “best coffee creamer on the market.”

We do have a few complaints, though. The packaging is not great, and it might even make a mess if you’re not careful. It doesn’t look as appealing as a lot of other coffee creamer brands out there. But when you get down to what matters, you have to admit that N’Joy is a great option for those who want all the creaminess of a traditional creamer without any of the dairy.

4. International Delight

International Delight coffee creamer

International Delight is one of those brands that you’re going to see just about everywhere, no matter what kind of grocery store you go to. And that’s a good thing because it’s one of the best coffee creamer brands out there. We love that there are so many different flavors to choose from, even if some of them do seem a bit questionable (Fruity Pebbles-flavored coffee creamer? We’ll pass). And if you want to include less sugar in your diet, you can even opt for a wide variety of sugar-free choices. What’s not to love about that?

We have to admit, though, that these flavors cater to a very specific palate. For the most part, you may not like these coffee creamers if you don’t tend to like your coffee on the sweeter side. While the sweetness of this brand’s creamers usually isn’t over the top, it still may be a bit much if you don’t already have a serious sweet tooth.

Overall, though, it’s definitely one of the best options out there. If you’re looking to expand your coffee creamer selection at home, this is certainly a good place to start.

3. Califia Farms

Califia Farms coffee creamer

Califia Farms has been getting more and more attention over the years for its amazing line of products. But if you have yet to try the coffee creamers from the brand, it’s time to do some experimenting. These almond milk-based creamers are seriously delicious, and that’s why they earn the top dairy-free spot on our list. The flavors tend to be a little bit more standard, so you won’t find anything really wild here (although you can still get your pumpkin spice creamer at certain times of the year).

That being said, we love the simplicity of these coffee creamers. They’re not trying to be over the top — they’re just trying to deliver the best creamy flavor to your coffee drink. The flavor isn’t overpowering, so it’s something you can drink on a daily basis. And since these creamers are dairy-free, vegans and those with lactose intolerance will be able to enjoy them just as much as the next person. Of course, we love Califia Farms’ trendy design, which appears on nearly all of their product packaging.

If you find yourself in the grocery store and happen to pass some coffee creamers from Califia Farms, you know you have to try some out. You can thank us later.

2. Chobani

Chobani coffee creamer
You probably know Chobani as the insanely popular yogurt brand. And while yes, the yogurt from this company is out of this world, that doesn’t mean you should stop there. That’s especially true when you consider that Chobani also has a line of coffee creamers that you’re not going to be able to get enough of. There are seven simple flavors: hazelnut, sweet cream, vanilla, caramel, cookies and cream, almond Coco Loco, and s’mores.

While we would love to be able to suggest just one of these flavors, we have bad news: We can’t pick. They are all so good in their own way. It really comes down to what kind of flavors you like. Prefer something a bit more experimental? The s’mores coffee creamer may be the way to go. Those looking for something that’s on the classic, side, though, will appreciate the vanilla.

Aydin A. from Influenster said this about the vanilla flavor: “If you like your coffee sweet like I do, you will love this. It is fully natural. And it tastes rich. And most importantly, you don’t need to put any additional sweetener. Widely available in most stores, slightly more expensive than other alternatives but worth it.”

We couldn’t agree more! Now, it’s time to go try it out for yourself.

1. Starbucks

Starbucks coffee creamer

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Starbucks coffee creamers take the top spot on this list. How could they not? We already love Starbucks drinks when we get them at a coffee shop, but they’re even better when you can make them from the comfort of your own home. Luckily, you can get pretty much any type of creamer to make your ideal Starbucks order in your kitchen. There are both dairy and dairy-free options, and they come in flavors like caramel macchiato and cinnamon dulce latte. Starting to drool yet?
